The Horsehead Nebula is a nebula in the constellation of Orion and near in apparant distance to the star Alnitak (the leftmost star in Orion's belt). It is a dark nebula resembling a horse's head.It cannot be seen with the unaided eye, binoculars or telescopes but can be seen with the aid of photography.
